2-1 Zealous Hammer Haft
No one uses zealous on a hammer because its too slow to be of any benefit .
Hammer is the most energy intensive warrior weapon thats why there are a lot of R/W bunny thumpers out there
Add a 2-1 Zealous hammer haft so people might actually use zealous on a hammer.

Yes they do and the OP has already answered why R/W is the most popular class for hammer users. Try to add something to the discussion next time.

Very good idea and not overpowering. You would still have to choose between expertise for more attacks or stronger attacks on a W primary but it would actually be a choice for once.

Great idea, Hammers need that boost, because the energy quite hard to maintain if you are a warrior with normal Zealous.

Zealous bow string + Barrage = no need for 2/1 Zealous bow string.

Crude Swing/Frenzy = No need for 2/1?
Bow's still need some zealouslove, regardless of one or two skills which make 1:1 better. That's the reason why Bows and Hammers have 5:1 Vamps instead of 3:1.

Barrage on 2 targets or more = lots of mana.

Crude Swing = easily interrupted = wasted 5 energy = no energy gain
I suggest renaming "Crude Swing" to "Graceful Swing",
and remove the "This action is easily interrupted."
To further beef up this skill, add
"This action cannot be interrupted."
Perhaps rename it to something like "Concentrated Swing"
/signed for 2:1 Zealous Hammer upgrade

We aren't here to argue about skill faults and skill balance, because obviously Barrage has a lot of faults (which is why you almost never see it in anything other than specialized builds, same with crude swing).
However, I will say Barrage is definitaly NOT a legitimate reason for Hammers having 2:1 Zealous while Bows would not. Obviously the developers agree that a single skill does not matter enough to give Bows less life stealing from Vampiric mods, why would they do the same with Zealous?

I concur. This is why I avoid hammers. They take too long to build up adrenaline.
Zealous Bows are pretty okay, as long as on a fast refire rate like short bow. Tiger's fury I hate, but Read the wind is useful for speed.

Was going to post my own thread about this though search worked for a change!
Anyway, I was wondering about what the possibilites of this were - they buffed sundering to make it useful, why not buff zealous on a hammer? Wit hthe energy intensive style of hammers I feel it would be a great update to do.

2/1 is a bit much. If there were a way to do, like, 1.3/1, I'd /sign that.

2/1 is too big a buff imo. Im not sure the mechanics of gw allowed decimals on zealous though.

i don't know 2/1 doesn't seem that bad, although if that fixed much of the energy problem hammer warriors might dominate too much, best armor + super crazy damage = nerf :\
